So stoked to share with you guys Portland based jewelry label Honeyfox’s beautiful set of imagery. The lookbook titled “Badlands Blues” is photographed by Amanda Leigh Smith all on 35mm film in Eastern Oregon, capturing Ally Ford styled in Honeyfox’s beautiful set of accessories from its SS15 Collection.
Honeyfox founder and designer Heidi Lieberman is a self taught header who hand makes all her jewelry.
“I’m a jewelry maker from Portland, Oregon. I am deeply inspired by nature and my surroundings and try to reflect that in my pieces. I have always had a fascination with beading and decided to teach myself how to do it about 5 years ago. There was a lot of trial and error but in the long run it was a good lesson of the patience I would need to continue beading. When it comes to my process, I find that I think of my most favorite designs when I’m zoning out to music. An idea will usually just come to me in a flash and I quickly sketch it out.” – Heidi
We have always loved Amanda’s photography work and her aesthetics of photography matches perfectly with Honeyfox.
“My inspiration for this shoot came from my heart. With some extra guidance from the photographer, Amanda Smith. She told me that when she thinks of me she thinks of a honky tonk angel. Which was pretty on point since I have that tattooed on me! I am so in love with all things country. I was lucky enough to grow up in it and I will always be connected to it.” -Amanda
