Designer and founder of the self-titled brand Yana Tsvetkova, discovered her inspiration for her Autumn / Winter 2015 collection during a stay in Lazio, particularly, her visit to the ruins of the former Roman port city of Ostia – immersed in the everyday life of ancient architecture and inspired by imperial images, embodied in the ancient sculptures and mosaics. Making her debut at the Moscow catwalk in 2010, the clothing by Yana Tsvetkova presents a sense of style and harmony; it is non-trivial feel in everyday life. In her A/W’15 Collection, one can notice the details of the cut and decoration, reminiscent of Roman armor soldiers, and straight cut free-form silhouettes, referring to the toga, flowing long dresses typical for ancient Protecting. The creation of the collection primarily involved natural fabrics accentuated with textures of precious natural colors and shades, with splashes of bright accents – whether it’s mustard-colored silk, woolen cloth with deep blue and purple hues or flax color of mint.
