Contemporary fashion label TOMORROWLAND debuts its Spring/Summer 2016 women’s collection – a clean, refined collection of modern classics. The Japanese powerhouse, which opened its first U.S. flagship store in SoHo this Fall, has already gathered a strong following in the U.S. market and has quickly built a reputation for its unique fabrics, uncompromised quality and signature look of ‘casual elegance’. For Spring/Summer 2016, this is seen clearly in loose, free-flowing silhouettes which can be easily layered with more structured pieces for a look of relaxed yet polished nonchalance. Calming summer neutrals combine with pops of candy colors, while bold plaids and stripes add a distinctive playful touch to the collection. Standout pieces include wide-legged jumpsuits, silk trench coats, summer knits and intricate lace and cutout pieces. TOMORROWLAND consistently uses high quality fabrics from Europe and Japan, as well as its own fabrics and textures which are created exclusively for the brand by the skilled craftsmen they collaborated with in Japan and Italy. For Spring/Summer 2016, fabrics are soft and created to drape effortlessly over the body, from fine cashmeres and delicate lace, to classic tweed and jacquard fabrics.
