The creative offspring of Montreal’s Andy Long Hoang and Tinashe Musara, WRKDEPT pieces are whimsical, unpredictable and high-fashion and express distinct forms, shapes, and attitudes adapted from their source material. Made specifically as ready-to-wear street clothing, WRKDEPT pieces merge and blur any notions separating masculine and feminine sensibilities. Their 2017 spring/summer collection is inspired by Zapatista artwork. Pieces like pleated skirts, shorts, skirts and jackets form the center of any military dress. With beautiful blues, pleated finishing’s, long tees, button-ups and more, we’re gravitating towards the collection’s revolutionary Mexican theme. Just like the Zapatistas’ uniforms, the collection expresses solidarity in unisex and socially fluid pieces.
