Rowie Design, a small independent women’s fashion label based in the Byron Bay Arts and Industry Estates has recently released its fall collection, and we’re in love! At first glance, the Byron Bay influence is easy to see. Recognized as a long time mecca for the creative and alternative cultures, the Australian “rainbow region” is considered to be the spiritual home of Australia’s hippy movement. This exotic and easy bohemian vibe is felt all throughout Rowie’s new collection. From the suede rust Ziggy jacket, to the beautiful rayon crepe Samira cream blouse, each look is perfected in that timeless hippy-chic way we all seek to emulate. We’re especially loving the floral flare sprinkled throughout the collection as well as the understated palettes of grey and cream and beige with a pop of beautiful bold rust must have fall pieces. The labels’ designer and namesake Rowie started making clothing at eight years old and has always been a creative spirit. She lives and breathes fashion and has said that it brings her great joy to create pieces that make people smile and feel beautiful to wear. Mission accomplished Rowie!
