Our go-to boho brand Cleobella presents its Resort collection entitled “La Belle Femme”… and we are absolutely obsessed. Explore the dreamy lookbook, photographed by Saamuel Richard on location in Seal Beach – the beach town home to Cleobella’s designer and founder Angela O’Brien. The muse for the Resort story is Maja Krag (Two management), styled by Chelsea Bratches, in Cleobella’s latest range of flowy silhouettes from maxi dresses with crochet detailing to cute crop tops, bell bottom jumpsuits and more, paired together with toppers from Gladys Tamez Millinery and Haati Chai jewelry. “As we sleep we dream
As we dream we grow
As we grow we bloom
And within every bloom lives a La Belle Femme”
This collection was shot in my home town of Seal Beach in three locations I hold dear to my heart….
My Grandma “Angela” is the Matriarch of our family who lives down the street from my home and since I can remember she has always welcomed us over with a strong cup of Irish tea and scones prepared. She is the embodiment of beauty from the inside out…her positivity radiates! Growing up in Northern Ireland, she was known for her custom dresses she would hand sew for the weekend dances. Today you will find her layered in turquoise jewelry most likely paired with her favorite leopard fur coat. She continues to be my inspiration for strength and grace….I’m so proud to be her Granddaughter and namesake:-)
Being able to shoot the collection in her home where we’ve shared so many beautiful memories was a dream come to life.
Our second location was our favorite Flower Shop, Petals and Pop…walking into this floral heaven truly feels like you are somewhere lost in Paris. Upon entering this fairytale wonderland…your senses are flooded with everything beautiful…lush florals, romantic scents, dreamy decor. Theresa, the beauty behind Petals and Pop, has an endless well of creativity and beauty within her. If you ever come visit our little seaside town, be sure to stop in to get lost for awhile amongst the blooms.
Our last location… the sea.
There is something so romantic about the ocean in my little village…if you walk on the Seal Beach pier there’s a view to the Port of Long Beach to your right and the Navy Ships to your left…I dream of my Grandfather coming over on the Navy ship in the 50’s and settling in this little town with big dreams of a new future for his family. This I will forever hold dear to my heart. The sea will always be a source of romance and inspiration to me.
