Drawn from a wealth of influences from post-modern art, Brashy‘s Pre Fall 2016 Lookbook pays tribute to DIYism, graffiti, workwear, and tailoring, all while combining the highbrow and lowbrow elements of contemporary culture. With artwork featured throughout the collection, techniques include brushstrokes, paint drips, graffiti, and typography for a dramatic expression. Formal pieces are tailored versions of classic workwear and updated street staples. And because the line is based in LA, they’re a true representation of man and technology. Brashy thrives in creating in and around objects and interfaces not intended for mass appreciation. They take the ugly and turn it into something seriously special and totally innovative.
