Tokyo based fashion house .efilevol has been coined the “representative brand” of Tokyo, and for good reason. An iconic label that uses wit and an element of quirkiness to infuse its designs with a non-conformist aesthetic, .efilevol has spent the last decade garnering fans and solidifying itself as a major player among the big dogs in the world of fashion and creative media. We’re really digging the brand’s 2016 autumn/winter collection, which takes a minimalist approach to basics, and adds charming details like drawstrings, see-through neck lines, and contrasting materials. One of our favorite designs this season is the Checked Flannel & Corduroy Skirt which takes inspires a throwback nostalgia of long length 1950’s skirt with materials reminiscent of the 70’s. Pair this piece with a Fatsleeve Knitted Pullover from the same season and create an everyday look that is effortless, casual, but charmingly retro. Beautifully build flannel line coats, sheepskin lines denim jackets, and layers of hoodies and sweaters will take you through the entire winter with a breeze.
