Like the old adage goes, the only thing that is permanent is change. Designer Yulia Kjellsson‘s collection Temporary/I’m Fine explores this theme, with inspiration from the temporality of things in a dystopian future. A heady concept for sure, but the results are riveting. Unapologetically oversized silhouettes, creative cuts, patchwork, color block designs, and awesome ruching techniques are all hallmark’s of this artistic approach to fashion and storytelling. Bright green, eggplant, and pale blue work together in an unexpected color palette used for stunning separates as well as unique stand-out garments. The label’s Swedish designer may still be exploring the essence of her brand, but we can already see the blossoming of a visionary artist with much to offer in the sustainable genderless space.
