It’s time to give yourself a totally new and fresh perspective on all things knitwear. Introducing the latest collection from Ashminder Shira. The idea behind this collection deals with the concept of the female “uniform,” or what we might expect women to wear. In particular, we’re looking at the idea of a ceremonial gown, a uniform that’s present throughout various cultures. We view this uniform through a lense that we’ve come to be familiar with, but what this collection does is flip that expectation upside down. It plays with texture, color, cut, and fit in order to present something that is completely outside the norm of the typical female uniform. This collection is all things unexpected, playful, and experimental, and we just can’t tear our eyes away from it. Who’s with us?
