Inspired by the movie, “The Doom Generation”, this Autumn/Winter ‘18 collection from Wai Yang touches on the typical problems that we might see from youths, including social issues. Titled, “Not My Problem” you’ll notice in the pieces we get the edgy, artisanal feel that we’ve come to expect of this brand. They provide us with unisex outerwear, oversized blouses, and bold autumnal colors. There’s no denying that on the surface these pieces have a definite premium look about them, but beyond the obvious, it’s also important to note the amount of work that goes into each piece. Known for creating handcrafted designs, Wai Yang also does all their own screen printing, and tailors each piece to achieve the ultimate silhouette. Always aiming to be unique and original, that goal easily comes across upon viewing this latest collection.
