Vladimir Karaleev’s Spring / Summer 2019 collection focuses on the superposition of different shapes and textile surfaces, which have been overplayed or covered. Those shapes can be repositioned collars or flaps, overlapping and allowing us to view or hide various elements of a garment, also creating an even more abstract body silhouette. Necklines and cut-outs are being accented by piping or contrast stitching, inside finishing is exposed outside which bring even more graphic detail to the composition within the garment.

The interaction of all those elements has been amplified by the different fabric structures: from soft and light silks, wools or technical nylon fabrics to through rougher denim canvas. There are glen-check and plaids combined, building new even more complex patterns. The color range embraces off white, sand beige or lime green to denim blue and black.
