Are you familiar with Understated Leather? If you said no, then you’re about to be hit with a real treat. Known for serving up trend-setting leather styles, the brand’s Spring ‘19 campaign is certainly worth checking out. Titled, “Concrete Cowboy”, based off the title of the collection, you probably won’t be too shocked to find a definite western aesthetic making its way into the full lineup. For example, there’s contrasting black and white stitching, excessive fringe, suede, studded denim, high-rise jeans, bold belt buckles, patchwork, overalls, and basic graphic tees. Together, all of these looks might seem a little too over-the-top and excessively western, but when looked at separately, we can easily see many of these looks making their way into the wardrobe of ladies from all over. In particular, we’re loving the cool, casual, youthful feel that Understated Leather always brings to the table. None of these western inspired styles seem too vintage or outdated. Instead, with the use of sexy detailing and playful design elements, Understated Leather is totally approachable for the millennial woman. Throw on top of all that the expert photography by Emily Soto, the professional modelling of Ali Michael, styling by Annebet Duvall, and hair/makeup by Holly Gowers, and we have no doubts that this is a lookbook that you’ll quickly and easily fall in love with.
