Titled, “Manic & The Muse,” this Spring ‘19 collection from Spell Designs is an absolute must see. Serving up frills, fringe, tassels, and patterns galore, this collection doesn’t fall short on design elements. In fact, Spell took a step outside their usual collections by adding in new silhouettes, fabrics, shapes, and embellishments. However, at its core, this collection remains true to that feminine-boho feel that Spell is so well known for. In it, you’ll find model, Lauren Visser, wearing flowing midi skirts paired with crop tops, cheetah print rompers, off-the-shoulder maxi dresses, tiered mini dresses in stunning floral patterns, basic graphic tanks for a slight rock ‘n roll vintage vibe, and our personal favorite piece, a high-low dress with plunging neckline, kimono style sleeves, and a backless cut. Even just the way the lookbook has been styled to show the story of two friends travelling around Florence, Italy is so perfectly artistic, and so perfectly Spell that there’s no way not to love this collection. Pair all of that with expert styling by Lisa Smith, professional photography by Jamie Green, makeup by Ilaria Borgioli, and hair by Felicita Boccardi, and Spell has themselves one magically stylish lookbook, that’s for certain.
