Unashamedly bold and delightfully retro, Nine Lives Bazaar ignite a dreamy ‘70s nostalgia with their upcoming collection, Utopia. Celebrating big, bold florals in playful colourways, the Gold Coast brand’s highly anticipated range creates an evocatively feminine world. A collection for the statement makers – be it festival queens, bohemian babes or wedding glamours – Utopia is a time capsule to the halcyon days of the flower power era.
“Our customers are forever telling us how our prints remind them of their grandma’s retro wallpaper or their mum’s old flares,” says Rose, co-founder of the brand. “We take a lot of inspiration from the extravagance of bygone eras. The print we created for Utopia is no different.”
Heralding a shift for the label as they traverse into sophisticated new territory, this range highlights what they do best – create atmospheric and lush garments inspired by yesteryear. Saturated with sunflower yellows, olive greens, indigo and peaches, they are well and truly conjuring the fun-loving gypsy in all of us to come out and dance.
The brains behind the brand, Rose Madden and Vanessa Cave know the meaning of multi-tasking. Three years and two children after the label began, these power-house women are continually expanding their empire, collaborating with boho picnic rug luminary Wandering Folk on an exclusive Utopia rug. More collaborations are in the sidelines, as Nine Lives Bazaar continue to delight and inspire a new wave of sun-worshipping, daisy-crowned young loves from around Australia and the globe.
