Sustainable T-Shirts For All. Boyish Jeans Introduces Its Zero-Waste Tee Collection.

Los Angeles-based, sustainable denim label – Boyish Jeans – launched its zero-waste t-shirt collection to its core offering. As with all denim collections, Boyish looked to vintage design when creating the new sustainable tee offering. Taking inspiration from 1970’s-style fitted tees, the 6-piece capsule of “Dylan” t-shirts is produced utilizing 100% OCS certified organic cotton and dyed using Bluesign certified colorings.

The tees will be offered in a variety of summer-appropriate shades such as basic white, apricot ice, storm blue and two tie-dyed options, along with a silk-screen piece donning the Boyish motto “Cool to Care.” Additionally, all shirting scraps from the tees’ production process will be recycled, making them a zero-waste clothing product. The Dylan t-shirts are only the beginning of the Boyish team’s plan to expand into other non-denim categories. For Spring / Summer 2020, Boyish will also be launching a full collection of knit soft goods, made with OCS organic cotton yarns blended with Refibra x Tencel TM recycled lyocell. The offering will include more t-shirt fits, sweatshirts, shorts and pants, as well as other knit styles such as dresses and tops.
