Forever giving us the edgy, cool styles we crave, this latest collection from Rat and Boa doesn’t disappoint. Titled, “Animal Spirit,” you might expect to see nothing but trendy animal print in this lineup, but Rat and Boa surprises us by only providing two animal print pieces, one in cheetah print and the other in tiger stripes. The rest of the collection is done with polka dots and saturated hues, like emerald green and tomato red. Beyond just color and print, though, the real star of this collection is silhouette. Rat and Boa has outdone themselves with slinky, figure-flattering dresses that hug the body in all the right ways. For instance, take a look at the Simona dress. Done in a beautiful lavender shade, this number beautifully hugs a women’s curves, with a subtle trumpet style flare at the bottom of the dress. In addition, we love the addition of a cowl neckline and simple spaghetti straps. Further, there’s also the Moko dress, which is a black number with red polka dots. Here, Rat and Boa gives us a mini dress style, and once again, body hugging silhouette isn’t in short supply. Beyond that, though, they’ve also added in trendy puff sleeves, delicate button detailing, and a cool square neckline. Really, we could on and on about these bold styles, but we highly recommend checking them out for yourself. Trust us, you won’t regret it.
