Sporty stripes, oversized hoodies, mesh panelling, tracksuits, and crop tops… If this lineup from Pageant doesn’t have you flashing back to athletic streetwear from the ‘90s, well, we’re not sure what will. Always all about sportswear and functional design, the athletic aesthetic throughout this collection doesn’t veer too far from what we’ve come to expect of this brand, but what we love most about this collection is the nostalgic feel with the modern details. For example, your standard shift dress gets a new lease on life when a nylon pinafore is added to the design, along with oversized square pockets that feel very military inspired. However, despite us throwing words around like sporty and military inspired, there still is a feminine feel making its way into this lineup. For instance, feminine cuff sleeves are added to a basic top, white denim is given a pretty tie belt, and even track pants are made more feminine with their ultra-flattering high waisted silhouette. Top it all off with the talents of photographer Bowen Arico, stylist Megha Kapoor, model Lily Nova, and hair/makeup by Samantha Patrikopoulos, and you’ll be itching for some new streetwear in your life ASAP.
