Fioruccci rediscovers their roots with their gorgeous Woodland collection. Dating back to 1967, the brand has set the bar high in fashion as their iconic angels lead the way. Fiorucci opens a new path with their Woodland collection, as they now strive to inspire our hearts in saving our most under-appreciated treasure, mother nature. Fiorucci re-commissioned their beautiful woodland creatures artwork for this limited edition collection — Exhibiting a variety of darling sweatsuits, cheeky co-ords, statement formal wear, adorable accessories and their angel touched pieces. The color scheme is inspired by wildlife presented as Forest (green), FoxGlove (lilac), River (grey blue), Honeysuckle (pale yellow) and Birch (white grey). After seeing how nature has thrived during the global lockdown, Fiorucci had to design a collection that reminded us of our true foundation of love, earth, and nature.
The collection is made with 100% organic cotton that is grown without genetically modified seeds and made in a factory where people are treated inclusively and fairly. Each piece is adorned with a wildflower seed hangtag, to further inspire connection with nature. A percentage of revenue from the Woodland collection will be donated to the World Land Trust who work to protect and restore critically conditioned habitats for wildlife. The money raised will go towards the ‘World Land Trust’s Buy an Acre Project’, where every £100 donation buys one acre of habitat that will be purchased. Fiorucci feels fortunate to have continuously respected the wonders of nature over many decades and recognize their responsibility as a brand to commit wholeheartedly to being more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
