Very rarely does Alice McCall disappoint us with their chic, feminine collections. And yes, this sentiment absolutely rings true with the Spring/Summer ‘20 collection. Titled, “Folklore” this campaign is folk style but with a modern twist. For instance, you’ll definitely see the more folk-inspired references like embroidery and floral print, but there’s also a sense of modern styling here that keeps the collection from feeling too vintage or unapproachable for the modern style enthusiast. For instance, a belted floral maxi dress feels very nostalgic with its vintage floral print and chic belt; however, with its modern high-neckline, the piece takes on a more contemporary feel. In addition, we’re loving the use of sheer white turtlenecks paired over white triangle bra tops, chiffon mini dresses with dainty purple flower detailing, and cool denim mini dresses with feminine scalloped hemline and bow strap detailing.
