NMB New York is a contemporary fashion label founded by designer, Natalie Brown in October 2020. The designs are based on her thesis collection from Parsons School of Design, where she graduated that same year with honors in Fashion Design. Natalie started the brand for the purpose of creating clothing that allowed people to embrace their individuality, and feel empowered by what they wear. Inspired by a desire to find select pieces that she couldn’t find anywhere else, are thoughtful designs based on upcycling, in which the brand takes thrifted vintage clothing, deconstructs them, then uses them as fabric to create new, upgraded NMB originals. No NMB piece of clothing looks the same, each is one of a kind, giving every customer their own unique expression. The brand aims to rebrand the idea of upcycling, giving it a fresh edge and luxury feel, while making strides toward a fashionably cleaner world and a healthier environment.
