There were whisperings of an upcoming Off-White x Nike Blazer Low Sneaker after the unexpected passing of Virgil Abloh last October. Fans will be happy to hear that the long-awaited sneaker drop finally has an official announcement and we have all the details laid out below.
Off-White’s collaborations were currently on freeze after his passing but have since resumed with the approval of Virgil’s wife, Shannon Abloh. The newly announced Blazer Low is inspired by a multitude of sports – including the aesthetics of basketball, running, and skateboarding. The design features playful accents, such as perforations on the upper, punched out holes and exciting colors. Off-White’s iconic font is also emblazoned on the inner heel in addition to the Nike swoosh logo. This remains very true to the classic Virgil Abloh style that the world has come to love and adore.
The new shoe will be available in two different colorways – white/yellow and black/green – both versions intended to make a statement. The price tag will be $140 but you can definitely expect this to be a drop that sells out in minutes with the resale surely skyrocketing from there. But even if you miss out, Nike has confirmed that there are future Off-White x Nike sneaker collaborations yet to be released, so be sure to tune in for more announcements.
