Popular South Korean eyewear brand, Gentle Monster, who is continually known for their outlandish, unique designs have teamed up with Hood By Air for yet another collaboration. This time, the two brands have joined forces to create an homage to life in NYC – but with a futuristic twist. The announcement was followed not long after their last partnership with Jennie from BlackPink.
Hood By Air x Gentle Monster focuses on two dynamic silhouettes: Antagonist 01 and Mother. Both are equally sporty and geometric in shape, perfect for making a bold statement. The first style, Antagonist 01, features a goggle-inspired design with a flat top. The sides of the frames boast a special collaboration logo along the temples. Fans can choose from red, black, white, and pink colorways with mirrored lenses that feature 99.9% UV protection. The other sunglass style, Mother, highlights a chunkier square silhouette with orange lenses and large gold chain detailing on the sides. This specific style will only be available in black acetate and is a U.S. exclusive.
With every purchase of the Hood By Air x Gentle Monster collaboration, buyers will receive a special visor-shaped case as well as an animated box that showcases both of the brands’ logos. Prices for this eyewear collection range from $320 through $420.
