On Wednesday, May 4, Celine debuted their Winter 2022 runway show titled, “Dans Paris”, which featured Blackpink’s very own Lisa strutting down the runway. This follows after she was enlisted to walk in the brand’s collection back in December 2021. The show took place at both the Hôtel de la Marine and Hôtel National des Invalides in Paris.
Lisa from Blackpink has been a global ambassador for the fashion house since 2020 so both parties have an established relationship. She was spotted in two runway looks at the most recent show and was decked out in a blonde bob hairstyle. Her first look consisted of a silver sequined mini dress which was accessorized with statement sunglasses, chunky boots, and a structured bag. On her second walk, Lisa rocked a black version of the previous dress along with a leather moto jacket.
This Celine show was certainly one for the books as one of the venues, Hôtel de la Marine, has never held a runway show post-restoration. It took place in an 18th century room in which royal artwork used to be shown to visitors. The gaudy backdrop was the picture perfect setting for Celine’s Winter 2022 collection – which featured an array of cashmere and luxe leather. Many of the feature silhouettes were incredibly wearable and included elevated designs, such as turtlenecks, trousers, and capes. Of course, there was plenty of emphasis on eyewear and handbags in addition to the new ready-to-wear collection.
