Photographed by Nate Margolis and styled by Lily Zhang, you’ve never seen crochet like this before. Turning up the heat on knitwear, this Bailey Prado collection leaves little to the imagination. Having said that, as is typical of any Bailey Prado collection, it’s clear that each detail is carefully considered in order to make the collection feel cohesive, while also telling a story. For instance, with this collection, the designer named the collection “Panorama” as an homage to her growth as a designer and her actual physical movement between London and California. You’ll see this play out with aesthetics that feel more California-inspired, but you’ll also see influences from London. Of course, if the actual story behind the garments doesn’t interest you, we don’t think you’ll have any issue finding interest in the actual designs themselves. Clearly bold and designed to feel head-turning, you’ll find bodycon crochet dresses with oversized cut-outs, ultra mini skirts that leave little to the imagination, itty bitty bra tops, strappy bodysuits, body-hugging shorts, playful berets, cropped cardigans, and even a pair of elbow-length gloves with feathers if you really want to ramp up the drama. Bailey Prado never misses the mark when it comes to attention-worthy design.
