Parade, the brand most known for their comfortable underwear and loungewear in bright colorways, has debuted their largest collection to date. In a continued effort to be more inclusive to all, they have launched 10 new styles. Labeled the New:Cotton Collection, all designs are carefully crafted to mold to every single body type.
The most unique thing about Parade’s latest foray into inclusive basics is the fact they went directly to their trusting community. Throughout the last 12 months, patrons have given their two cents in regards to what kind of styles they would like to see come to fruition. Founder and CEO, Cami Tellez, shares that the company “started with 45 versions, fit-tested on 14 people, and focused on designing pieces on how they made [their] community feel.”
For instance, the newly designed boxer briefs feature a double layer panel for a more seamless coverage. This same technique was also applied to Parade’s most popular style, the flex high-rise thong. Other prominent and note-worthy adjustments include the plunge-back scoop bralette, which now boasts a freeflex chest and waistbands to accommodate any body type. Additionally, the New:Cotton Collection also features the brand’s first playsuit. It’s available to purchase in olive, black, brown, and royal blue. The new gender-expansive collection ranges from $10 to $38, with sizes available from XS to 3XL. One thing is for sure, brands across the board have stepped up to the gender-inclusive plate, which is always exciting to see.
