New York based fashion designer with self-titled brand, Sandy Liang, has built up quite the fan base the past few years. On June 3rd, the label announced that they will be making their foray into swimwear with a brand new line. The designer remarked that swimwear is something she always thought about doing and “things fell into place”… They were finally able to devote time to venture into a new category. This is perhaps the most coveted release by Sandy Liang to date and comes at the perfect time for the approaching swim season.
The new line is just three different looks but they surely deliver on style and quality. The Maurice bikini set is an up-cycled nylon jersey fabrication that stitches together mismatched patterns. The duel printed triangle bikini paired with the contrasting pair of bottoms makes for a really unique beach look. The other two-piece bikini set Sandy Liang introduced is dubbed the Lola. It is the perfect lavender terry and features a cute appliqué flower on the triangle top and bottom.
To round out the swimwear debut there is a one-piece called Connie. The silhouette boasts a high-cut leg and square-cut neckline. We love this piece because from far away, the swimsuit looks like it features a repeated floral print. But upon closer inspection, you can see the pattern is actually a cross between a galaxy print and anime-inspired eyes. Sizes for the new Sandy Liang swimwear pieces range from XS to XL and prices start at $195 and go up to $295.
