On Tuesday, September 20, Kim Kardashian herself took to Twitter to reveal the latest campaign for her brand, SKIMS. It is no surprise that the successful shapewear brand enlisted the help of several familiar faces to help spread the word. Here is the latest on the newest collection from SKIMS.
Featuring Becky G, Chelsea Handler, Indya Moore, Brooke Shields, and Cassie, the SKIMS bra collection highlights the importance of diversity in its images. The official campaign video stars each celeb who intimately shares when they feel the sexiest – an effort to honor female confidence and power. Kim Kardashian revealed that “confidence starts from within, and with this campaign, [they] are bringing all women together to celebrate all bodies and individuality.”
The bras themselves claim to be some of the most comfortable undergarments to date and are meant to feel like a second skin. There will be several renditions and styles, including mesh and cotton – all of which will be in SKIMS signature line of neutrals and skin tones. There will also be a variety of silhouettes including demi, balconette, t-shirt, underwire, tank styles, and more.
In addition to the star studded imagery, the brand also tapped a few other women – or 50 to be exact. These 50 models were cast to showcase four different decades. This further exemplifies the brand’s commitment to providing “ageless designs for women of all lifestyles and cultural backgrounds.” The new range of SKIMS bras is slated to release on September 27 so be sure to mark your calendars.
