Not your everyday bridal collection, Sandy Liang outdoes themselves with this release. Providing us with their first bridal collection to date, don’t expect to find sequins, lace, or embroidery here. Instead, Sandy Liang relies on a more minimalist approach to their bridal wear. In fact, some might even describe the dresses as plain. Having said that, what these dresses lack in detail they make up for with their sweet nature and impeccable craftsmanship. Take, for instance, a white babydoll dress with an oversized back bow detail. This probably isn’t the first image that comes to mind when you think bridal, but with puff sleeves, a voluminous silhouette, and a traditional veil, the bridal vision comes to life. Other designs featured include full-length sleeve midi dresses done in an A-line silhouette, pretty ’60s-inspired dresses with a mesh top detail and A-line silhouette, and probably our favorite piece, a slightly peach-colored dress with a train and square neckline. We know, we know, it might not seem like much on paper, but we think once you check out the collection for yourself, you’ll quickly understand the intended vision.
