Jimmy Choo is known for its luxury footwear, while Timberland is best known for their iconic workwear inspired boots. This season, both have decided to join forces for an epic footwear collaboration that takes glam to a whole new level.
In a combined effort, the two brands made it their mission to reimagine the hip hop style staple from the 90’s. The Timberland boot has always been a beacon of this nostalgic sense of style, often spotted in old music videos and memorabilia. Jimmy Choo x Timberland united to bring forth four modern renditions. The brains behind the capsule collection were Sandra Choi, a Harlem Fashion Row creative, and Shanel Campbell, a designer who focuses on the Black experience in America.
Of course, there is a revamped version of the classic butter style boots. On the sides, you’ll find a swatch of gold paint along with ‘Jimmy Choo’ in graffiti style font. Whereas on the black colorway, there is a plethora of Swarovski encrusted crystals that deliver a wow factor. Other styles within the Jimmy Choo x Timberland collection include a unisex hot pink puffer boot along with a patent leather boot with a detachable thigh-high cover. As a bonus, there will be limited available quantities of a stiletto boot that are completely covered in crystals (for a hefty price of $6,000).
