In honor of the upcoming Lunar New Year, beloved outdoor brand The North Face, has announced an exclusive collection. Some of the most coveted pieces from the ICON line have gotten a redesign to commemorate the Year of the Rabbit. It also serves as a continued reminder to preserve and respect the outdoors – an overarching theme behind the brand’s operations.
Just in time for the winter season, this limited The North Face collection includes key silhouettes such as the Nuptse Jacket from 1996 and the 86 Retro Mountain Jacket. Many of the pieces appear to have a repeated camouflage print all-over, but upon closer inspection, you can see it is actually overlapping outlines of rabbits. Despite the newly designed pattern, the coats are just as water-repellant and insulated as always, ideal for those who love a good wintertime adventure. The styles also feature a new offering of colorways including red, grey, neon yellow, and brown.
In addition to the outerwear, the Year of the Rabbit collection includes logo hoodies and snow pants. There is even a smattering of graphic tees in which The North Face logo gets redesigned with a rabbit silhouette in the foreground. To accompany the aforementioned, a few accessories have also gotten the rabbit revamp including beanies and the cozy Nuptse Mule shoe which features the brand’s ThermoBall warming technology.
For those interested in gearing up for the winter with The Year of the Rabbit collection, you can now shop these pieces at select The North Face stores worldwide.
