Collina Strada, best known for its use of color and avant garde prints, is teaming up with Vans for a Spring 2023 collaboration. The collection includes everything from footwear to apparel revamped in Collina Strada’s signature style. As we shift gears toward warm weather styling in the fashion world, this is certainly a collection you are going to want to get behind.
One of the restyled footwear styles is the Classic Slip-On 98 DX in which the brands enlisted multiple collaborators to sketch their dream home. The result is an all-over print that depicts a colorful, happy neighborhood. Other shoes in the Collina Strada x Vans collab feature an orange and pink tie dye print and a fully gold metallic shoe with a Vibram sole. As for the apparel, a similar aesthetic is captured in the form of terry cloth sets, saturated tees, and even a doodle backpack.
Hillary Taymour, the creative director and founder of Collina Strada, remarked that she grew up in Southern California and has been wearing Vans her entire life. She “wore slip-ons skateboarding on the pier and to the barn before putting on my boots.” Now, Taymour is honored to work with the brand in such an intimate way.
The Collina Strada x Vans collection will be debuting on the runway on February 10 at New York Fashion Week to supplement their Fall/Winter 2023 collection. On this same day, the collection will be available to shop on collinastrada.com, vans.com, and within Vans retail stores worldwide.
