Led by Francesco Risso, Italian fashion house Marni has been on a journey of reinvention, shedding the layers of external influences to focus on the pursuit of true beauty. The Marni Spring 2025 collection began with pants and knits, gradually transitioning into oversized boxy jackets with large, structured shoulders and ballooning skirts adorned with feather-like wisps of fabric. The collection’s progression mirrored the evolution of the color palette. The initial looks were predominantly monochromatic, but as the show progressed, the patterns became increasingly rich and captivating. Floral motifs that appeared hand-drawn unfurled across the pouf skirts, while the evening dresses sparkled with exquisite embroidery, where rhinestone roses bloomed amidst a cascade of cotton garden leaves.
