In the lead up to their 10 year anniversary as a brand, this Resort 18/19 collection from Aje is very special. Signifying all the hard work that has gone into making this brand into the successful fashion line that it is, this collection certainly stands out. Using the archives from celebrated Australian artist, Brett Whiteley, Aje used his artwork to create a wearable collection of his most celebrated works. You’ll find the color palette remains true to Whiteley’s work, along with the scale and the intention behind the pieces. Aje worked hard to ensure this was the case by working closely with Whiteley’s wife, who was the main source of inspiration for his work. Really, what this collection boils down to, in their own words, is “a celebration of love, of pain, of passion, and ultimately, of teamwork.” Just take a look at the anniversary collection for yourself, and you’ll undoubtedly see this passion and artistic sensibility translate through each of the pieces.
