Hien Le’s Spring Summer Collection 2019 is an homage to Berlin, to the sublime feeling of home. Colors, forms and people, who notably shape Kreuzberg, find together in a tender symphony of the metropolis – crafted in classy silhouettes, natural fibers and elegant color combinations. Most pieces are unisex and interchangeably, made of cotton or a cotton mix, many in off-white and bright blue which correspond with a light denim. A vibrant orange red brings a fresh touch of color, supplemented by a traditional Glencheck pattern. The logoprint, a white lettering on a white surface, is a poetic reminiscence to the 90s. This kind of understatement also mirrors Hien Les first collaboration with jewelry designer Sandra Schumann: Their bracelet, for instance, in its clear, virtuous style, is a silent interpretation of the skyscrapers around the Kottbusser Tor.
