After earning his BSc in mechanical engineering, Jimmy spent years designing systems and technical components for various industries. However, the rigid rules and regulations of the field never resonated with him completely.
Driven by an innate curiosity for organic design, Jimmy took a leap of faith and established Louis Abel. His approach to jewelry design is rooted in freedom and experimentation. With a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, Jimmy set up a small workshop in his hometown of Borås, where he began exploring the possibilities of precious metals. Despite having no prior experience in traditional jewelry design, his unconventional approach led to the creation of unique, unconstrained pieces.
