After seeing the first piece; many of her teachers were impressed; but told her that she could never create a collection with opals because they would be impossible to source. Luckily; Akaila is not one to shy from a challenge. She set her sights on sourcing large pink and Ethiopian opals and; ultimately; Planet Pink was born.
