Puma, the beloved athletic brand, is tapping into the younger generation with a brand new campaign. Dubbed FOREVER.CLASSIC, the sneaker company has enlisted the help of some of the most popular Gen Z icons to showcase everything from footwear to apparel and more.
There is no denying that this campaign feels like a giant crossover episode. Puma has tapped Angus Cloud and Iris Apatow from HBO’s Euphoria series, Caleb McLaughlin from Stranger Things, and Zaya Wade (Dwayne Wade’s daughter) and trans-right activist. All four celebrities have become the new faces of Puma’s iconic sneakers including Suede, Cali, Clyde, and Mayze styles. These are some of the most recognized sneakers Puma has released in their 75 years of business.
The official FOREVER.CLASSIC campaign images themselves are a complete blast from the past. The studio was decked out in 70’s-inspired decor complete with a vintage orange carpet and mid-century modern furniture. This is, of course, to highlight how timeless the aforementioned sneakers truly are. In an effort to win over the younger generation and remain relevant and trend-savvy, this campaign could not have been better. It does a wonderful job of highlighting just how iconic Puma sneakers are.
