Panconesi

After completing his studies in Fashion Design at Instituto Polimoda, Marco Panconesi, a jewelry designer from Florence, honed his skills at Givenchy with Riccardo Tisci before becoming the director of men’s accessories at Balenciaga. Despite initially pursuing a career in archeology, Panconesi’s fondness for the design sensibilities of ancient Greece and Rome has greatly influenced his work. His jewelry pieces resemble reworked and modernized versions of ancient artifacts, showcasing his affinity for heritage. He adds a contemporary twist to traditional pieces by incorporating industrial elements, such as undulating shapes that convey movement and mismatched components that surprisingly complement each other. His hoop and drop earrings feature vibrant gems and intricate crystal-cut detailing, while his rings with precious stones give the impression of being recently excavated. By merging the past with a modern perspective, the Parisian brand has broken new ground in terms of aesthetics, producing one-of-a-kind designs that are visually stunning. Panconesi’s polished pieces are intended to be cherished as heirlooms, passed down through generations and brought to life with each new wearer.
