Designed by Shirley Tang, Oriens is a brand that we recommend getting on board with before it explodes. Currently a part of the designer’s coursework during her time at Parsons School of Design in New York City, Oriens might still be in its infancy, but we’re certain that once you see the pieces in action, you’ll instantly recognize its potential. So what kind of designs can you expect? Well, first off, don’t expect to find anything too standard or typical at Oriens. This is a brand that values futuristic design, as well as experimental designs that focus on artificial intelligence and technology. In addition, you’ll also notice that sexuality is played with extensively, while still keeping that futuristic aesthetic alive and well. For instance, cut-outs, multi-paneled silhouettes, and body-hugging figures are all part of the design DNA at Oriens. And so, whether it be strappy bra tops that leave little to the imagination, corset bustiers that hug in tight, barely-there bodysuits, or mini dresses with sheer paneling, we’re certain that all eyes will be on you when you have Oriens in your corner.
