Pitti Uomo, also known as “Pitti Men” in English, is a highly significant event for showcasing men’s fashion collections and introducing new projects in the industry. The event takes place twice a year at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence. Although it is only the second week of January, the focus has already shifted towards the upcoming Fall 2024 Fashion Season. The fair opened with a show by American designer Todd Snyder, marking his first show since the pandemic. While last season saw a relaxed and surf-inspired style among attendees, this season we are witnessing a return to formal wear with three-piece suits, neckties, and even faux-fur trapper hats. The popular boat totes from the previous season have been replaced with larger canvas bags from luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and JW Anderson.
