If you’ve spent any time online, chances are you’re familiar with Emily Ratajkowski, also known as Emrata. She’s a multi-talented individual, excelling as a podcaster, model, and mother. Not to mention her Instagram selfies consistently garner nearly a million likes, a testament to her timeless beauty. Whether she’s out and about or at an event, Emily follows a signature, sultry makeup routine. She even shared with Vogue that she believes her everyday look is universally flattering. If you want to put her theory to the test, read ahead as we break down Emrata’s makeup routine.

It all starts with foundation, applied with your fingers for a seamless finish. Blend well, then switch to a high-coverage concealer for under the eyes. For a sculpted look, use a bronzer stick to contour the temples and hollows of your cheeks. Add a pop of blush on the cheeks, blending upwards. If you don’t have natural freckles, consider using a faux-freckle pen on the nose bridge and cheeks.

Next, use a brow lamination gel to lift and tame your eyebrows. Apply a matte brown or gray eyeshadow all over the lid, blending out any harsh lines in the crease. Smoke out the lower lash line with the same shade and create a triangle in the outer corner using an eyeshadow brush. Line the upper eyelid with a dark, black kohl eyeliner, extending it from the inner corner to create a small wing. Repeat on the lower waterline, ensuring the liner connects in the inner corner. Finish with a lengthening mascara on the top and bottom lashes.

For Emrata’s signature pout, use a dusty rose-brown lip liner and follow up with a touch of lipstick. Trying out Emrata’s makeup routine is sure to boost your confidence and leave you feeling glamorous.
