Perks and Mini (P.A.M.) and Puma have once again come together to unveil the fourth installment of their BIO/VERSE project. This ongoing collaboration transcends celebrates the intersection of nature and innovation while delving into the realms of exploration in sportswear. Captured against the backdrop of Tokyo and the enchanting Koke no Mori (The Moss Forest), the campaign is brought to life by Japanese hyper-pop rap artist Tohji. Photographer Idan Barazani masterfully freezes moments of awakening, seamlessly navigating the physical, meta, and microcosmic dimensions.
The Spring/Summer 2024 addition to the BIO/VERSE project introduces a range of unisex outdoor-ready apparel, footwear, and accessories. Cryptic graphics and omnipotent logos adorn the collection, with some pieces undergoing snow-wash treatments, while others showcase innovative materials like mushroom leather and recycled cotton. Standout pieces include reimagined versions of the iconic Puma Suede and Velophasis, each embodying the spirit of the collaboration. The T7 Tracksuit, reversible Padded Vest, graphic Hoodies and T-Shirts, Legionnaires Cap, along with a Backpack and Bottle Bag Set, further contribute to the collection’s versatility and aesthetic depth.
The infusion of snow-wash treatments not only adds a tactile and visual dimension but also symbolizes a metamorphosis, echoing the themes of transformation and renewal. Meanwhile, the utilization of sustainable materials like mushroom leather and recycled cotton reflects the commitment of Perks and Mini (P.A.M.) and Puma to environmental responsibility.
