Inspired by automobiles, this collection from Peter Do is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. And yes, you read that correctly: this is a fashion collection that takes its inspiration from automobiles. You can see this come across in the use of high gloss textiles, which remind us of luxury cars, along with the seaming in the jackets, which remind us of the stitching on leather car seats. Beyond that, though, you’ll also notice that this is a collection that’s highly structural and utilitarian. There’s plenty of suiting, boxy silhouettes, broad shoulder blazers, and cool button down tops. However, while those aspects might sound a little more on the masculine end of the spectrum, Peter Do ensures they bring in the feminine aspects with shades of hot pink, belted waists, and feminine pleats. Really, though, at the end of the day, no matter what end of the spectrum we’re looking at, each Peter Do detail is always carefully considered, with the intention of delivering luxury to all women who love fashion.
