KANGHYUK, based in Seoul, was established in 2017 by graduates of the Royal College of Art, Kanghyuk Choi and Sanglak Shon. The ready-to-wear label has been gaining recognition for its unique take on luxury streetwear since its inception, and even received a nomination for a LVMH prize in 2019. The brand is widely known for using recycled automotive airbag materials in its designs, resulting in garments that are both conceptually and functionally sophisticated, featuring distinctive accents such as visible barcodes, logos, and contrast stitching. KANGHYUK’s style is a combination of modernity and practicality, demonstrating creative craftsmanship in everyday menswear.
