Innately connected to the earth around her, designer Sophie Monet Okulick has extended her sites on the majestic European shores for her latest collection. After forging her design aesthetic around the rich woods that have become her signature, the designer has added saturated pops of color and identifiable shapes inspired by the verdant landscape that serves as a backdrop for her travels. Pendants that resemble relics are paired with new and unexpected silhouettes that feel at once old world and new modernism. Green malachite is used throughout, mimicking the iconic pine trees that line the jagged ridges of the Formentor coast, while cool lapis reflects the pristine blue coastline that is endlessly energetic. With a decidedly Mediterranean ethos, the collection boasts an exoticism that is a refreshing new direction for the designer.
