Alejandra Alonso Rojas presented her Fall 2026 collection inside her studio under the title Metamorphosis. The season followed her decision to consolidate her calendar and concentrate on spring and fall only. For this chapter she looked to butterflies and saturated color, with Tina Chow and Audrey Hepburn pinned to her mood board. The setting brought guests directly into her world, close to the fabrics and the finish of each piece.

More than 60 percent of the collection was created from fabrics already in her possession. Rojas began by reviewing her stock, then redyed and hand pleated those materials in the style of Mariano Fortuny. She completed the pleating herself in her kitchen. Previous patterns returned in new tones, reinforcing the idea of renewal through repetition. Gold, olive, carnation red, primrose, bordeaux, ultramarine blue and black moved through the lineup, with sand grounding a satin trench and tailored trousers.

Evening remains central to her identity. Bustier dresses with pleated skirts, a strapless column gown shaped through architectural draping, and a sleeveless dress with a fitted bodice and flared skirt defined the presentation. Spanish references surfaced through hand done floral appliqué across a bust and handmade fringes from Andalusia placed at the base of a dress. Rojas also introduced evening separates including shell tops, cowl neck tops, satin skirts and shrugs, offering options for clients who want versatility within formal dressing.

Rojas described the collection as her metamorphosis, a season built through limitation and renewal. Showing in her studio underscored that focus. By returning to existing fabrics and established patterns, she sharpened her language around color, drape and surface. Fall 2026 positioned Alejandra Alonso Rojas firmly within her signature territory of satin evening, now reframed through process and personal discipline.
