In 2020, COÛT DE LA LIBERTÉ was founded by Jeffrey Lubell, who is also one of the founders of True Religion, and his wife Carrie Stroup. The brand, which translates to “the cost of freedom,” was created as a representation of their mutual love for free-spirited creativity and genuine appreciation for fashion. The collections of this ready-to-wear label blend together elements from 70s fashion, glamour, and the laidback Californian style, all of which are carefully crafted at their atelier located in downtown Los Angeles. COÛT DE LA LIBERTÉ remains true to its core values by offering a wardrobe that embraces individuality and celebrates the art of fashion.
