In his second season as creative director, Nicholas Aburn sharpened the brand’s after dark identity during New York Fashion Week, leaning into glamour as both fantasy and control. Aburn framed the collection around words like fun and magic, then pushed them further into something with bite. The show kept AREA’s high shine DNA intact while stretching it into stranger territory. Denim jackets cinched with giant belts twisted into bows. Rugby sweaters hung long and slouched over the shoulder, stretched past the hip.
