Showing in New York, Sally LaPointe leaned into a sharper edit this season, shaping the lineup through direct dialogue inside her atelier, which opened in late 2025. The space has doubled as a retail experience and an ongoing focus group, giving the designer real time feedback on what her client actually reaches for. The shift to a tighter edit showed in the numbers and in the cut. LaPointe spoke about editing down, presenting fewer looks and honing in on what she calls a sharper collection. Her signatures remained in rotation, double faced satin, long gowns edged in feathers, and liquid surfaces that skim the body. At the same time, she pushed texture in new directions.
